The first eighteen days of
February will bring to us the intellectual, independent, inventive
and humanitarian energies of the sign of Aquarius. This is
the perfect time to follow your inspirations and to connect with
your family, friends, groups and your community. It is,
also, important to objectively review your life, and ask yourself
how you can be of service to Humanity. Here is a poem
by the famous Bengali
poet of Calcutta, Rabindranath Tagore, that says it all:

and dreamt that life was joy
I awoke and saw that
life was service
I acted and behold service was joy
When we serve the good in our
world, we increase love in our world. As love increases, so does
the possibility of peace on Earth.
The planet Mercury will be in
Retrograde from February 1st through the 18th.
While Mercury is in Retrograde, the Universe is urging us to
develop our Right Brain – the intuitive, feeling side of our mind.
During the MR cycles, our Left Brain – the logical, practical,
linear side of our mind – does not function as clearly. Take
this time to rethink and contemplate your life. Become
familiar with, develop, and integrate your intuitive faculties.
Mercury is retrograding through the sign of Aquarius, making this
a good time to rethink and contemplate your role and
responsibilities with family, friends and all of Humanity.
It is not advisable to begin new
projects or to sign any important documents during Mercury
Retrograde. However, it is a good time to contemplate new
beginnings, and to wait until after February 18th to
actually begin them. The exception to this rule is any activity
that you are an expert in. For example, if you are a
professional beautician, it’s okay to cut new hair. This is
because you have already developed and integrated your intuitive
side of your brain in this realm of activity.
A New Moon / partial Solar
Eclipse - when the Moon orbits between the Earth and the Sun -
occurs on February 6th at approximately 7:44 pm Pacific
/ 8:44 pm Mountain Time (at 18 degrees in the sign of Aquarius).
This eclipse of the Sun will be visible in Antarctica, New
Zealand, southeastern Australia, Fiji and Western Samoa. A solar
eclipse marks a shifting of the gears of the Universe as a new
paradigm is born. The energies of this new paradigm will begin to
express and become obvious to us during the next six months.
We will see new inspirations,
inventions and scientific discoveries for the betterment of
humans, animals and the environment. New structures may be
created to implement these changes. New laws and
structures that will support America’s economy may be introduced
and / or created. Enlightened social programs that provide
food and housing for Americans may be created. Inspired
health programs may be created and introduced in America. Improved
relations between America and foreign cultures may help our
economy and world status.
On a personal level, this is a
powerful time to follow your inspirations, make commitments and
take action to make your dreams come true. However, it would be
best to wait until after February 18th, when Mercury
goes Direct.
On February 20th, at
7:30 pm, there will be a Full Moon / Lunar Eclipse - when
planet Earth moves between the Sun and the Moon (in the sign of
Virgo, 2 degrees). This is a Total Eclipse of the Moon,
and may be seen in North America, Central America, South America,
Greenland, Arctic region, Europe, Africa and western Asia.
An eclipse of the Moon tends to
bring up unresolved emotional energies from the deep unconscious.
If you will use the time of the eclipse, and from about 4 days
before and after the eclipse, to feel and acknowledge your
emotions, you can affect some profound healing of your psyche.
Also, remember to affirm Divine presence in your life.
The two-week period between the
Solar Eclipse and the Lunar Eclipse is a powerful time to do our
emotional processes and spiritual practices. During this two-week
period, we have direct access to the Causal Plane, where first
cause of creation begins. Therefore, this is an exceptionally
powerful time to manifest whatever your heart desires. It is
especially important to think positive thoughts during this time,
because our thoughts will have much greater creative power than
they normally do. Be aware of how and what you are creating. You
will either create consciously or by default. The choice is
yours.
A positive, powerful alignment
(Trine aspect) between the Planets Saturn and Pluto, from February
8th thru July 9th, represents an expanding
infusion of pure Source Energy with the physical third-dimensional
