Astrological Perspectives for April 2011

We have entered a profound time
in history, when every person is being called upon to develop and
accept their own Personal Mastery.
Personal mastery is consciously using the power of the mind to
“focus” and create your heart’s desire through Divine and inspired
action. We do this by being acutely aware of our feelings,
thoughts, words, actions and ways of being in every moment of
every day, and by consciously choosing to live in harmony and
balance with everyone and everything. This also involves a
willingness to face our challenges and fears, and move to a place
of neutrality and acceptance with them.
Meditate and look within to
determine what is driving your actions. Ask yourself, “Is it fear
or love that motivates me?” In that moment of truth, you can
consciously choose to take “Inspired” action. This is the path of
a true Master.
In the 1960’s, a new dispensation
of energies catalyzed the quickening of the Collective
Consciousness. This occurred when the planets Uranus and Pluto
were both in the sign of Virgo, in a Conjunction Aspect. The
energies of Virgo have to do with health and service through
attention to details and practical expressions.
From May 2010 thru March 2018 these two evolutionary
planets are aligned once again – this time in a Square Aspect.
This Square Aspect brings all of the innovations that began during
the Conjunction in the 1960’s, to the next level of development
and promises to catalyze the evolution of Humanity.
In the 1960’s, masses of young
adults gathered and peacefully protested against the war in Viet
Nam, nuclear power, social injustices and Capitalism. They
intuitively knew that war was not the way to bring about peace;
that nuclear energy is toxic to our environment and deadly to
humans and nature; that all races and both sexes are equal; and
that Capitalism has major flaws. This was the time when
metaphysical practices (such as yoga, meditation and martial arts)
became more popular in America and has been expanding in their
popularity ever since.
From 2003 until March
10th 2011, the planet Uranus was transiting through the sign
of Pisces. This transit stimulated an awareness of the need for
idealism, compassion and altruism. It also awakened us to the
reality and value of the mystical teachings - including the
mystical arts (e.g. Astrology, Tarot, Numerology) and metaphysics
(e.g. meditation, channeling and quantum physics).
On Friday, March 11th
(the day the earthquake and tsunami struck Japan), the planet
Uranus entered the sign of Aries (an 8-year cycle completing on
March 5, 2019); at the same time, the planet Pluto is in the sign
of Capricorn (until November 2024).
Uranus is the ruler of
the sign of Aquarius, as well as the Age of Aquarius. Uranus
represents the larger, generational cycles of the Collective
Consciousness of Humanity. It is the energy of radical, unusual
and unexpected events and changes. It brings inspirations,
scientific discoveries and supports group organizations. Uranus
gives us access to metaphysical realms of consciousness, Divine
awareness and higher Truth. It acts to quicken the evolution of
consciousness.
Aries is the first
sign (the Alpha expression) of the Zodiac. The traditional symbol
for Aries is that of the Ram (^).
It also represents the sprout of a new seedling. Within every seed
is a perfect plan. Aries is the sign of the warrior. It stimulates
bold new beginnings and aggressive, impulsive and adventurous ways
of being. Uranus in Aires will awaken passions for freedom and
liberation from all bondages and limitations. It will stimulate
aggressive actions and revolutionary movements towards greater
freedom and individual rights. People will unexpectedly be
inspired to change directions and follow their inner Truth.
Evolution of the Collective Consciousness is accelerating and
there are new choices to make. We must make brave choices to
assure that we realize our fullest potential.
Uranus in the sign of
Aries reflects the excitement of an unbridled possibility for all
of Humanity. We are being guided from a place of innocence and
fresh new perspective into uncharted realms of consciousness and
human expression. When you align with your inner guidance and act
accordingly, you serve your soul’s purpose and create love and joy
in your life. When you are in harmony with your soul’s purpose,
you naturally serve the evolution of the Collective Consciousness.
When you follow your joy, you bless your life and the lives of
those around you.

The Sun in Aries
The first 19 days of April brings
us the dynamic, straightforward, impetuous, aggressive,
adventurous and creative energies of the Sun in the sign of Aries.
This will expand the dynamics of Uranus in Aries, giving us fresh,
new perspectives on all matters of life. This is an excellent time
to be open to new approaches, new beginnings and new directions in
all aspects of your life.
Neptune Enters Pisces
On April 4th, 2011
until January 2026, the planet Neptune enters a 15-year cycle of
transiting through the sign of Pisces.
Because Neptune rules Pisces, it will have a stronger and
deeper affect on the consciousness of Humanity. (A planet is said
to rule a sign when it vibrates at a similar frequency as the
sign.) Neptune represents the spiritual, idealistic, visionary
and compassionate sides of our being. Pisces is the final sign of
the zodiac (the Omega expression), and represents the combined
awareness of all twelve signs. It is the most mystical and
spiritual of all of the signs.
Neptune transiting the sign of
Pisces supports Humanity’s spiritual development and realization
of Unity Consciousness. Unity Consciousness is a highly evolved
state of spiritual awareness, where we realize our connection with
all beings and all things in this world and universe. From this
state of knowing, one cannot purposely hurt another person or
thing. We naturally feel connected, and at One, with the Universe
and Source energy.
This is a time when the veil
between the physical and spiritual realms is dissolving. This
means that most people will become more aware of their spiritual
natures and paranormal, psychic and mystical phenomena will
increase. Examples of these are: communications with family
members who have made their transition; feeling shivers down the
spine when you suddenly know something to be true; increased
synchronicities - such as being in the right place at the right
time; and so on.
Trust your intuitive “hunches”
even when they appear to be at odds with the logical belief or
conclusion of others. Spirit communicates with us in many
forms and has a great sense of humor. Be open and receptive
to the messages you receive through the voices of nature, music,
unexpected encounters, random conversations, dreams, and so on.
Have fun!
There are many frequencies that
Neptune in Pisces can express. These range from the denser, lower
frequencies of confusion, disillusionment, addiction, sympathy
and co-dependence to the higher, expressions of idealism,
compassion, spirituality, and spiritual guidance. Now is the
time to become the Personal Master that you are, and consciously
focus your attention on the higher expressions of the sign of
Pisces. As you do this, by the Universal Law of Attraction,
you will draw to you experiences that resonate with the vibration
you are offering.
Some tools of Neptune and Pisces
are hypnosis, music, videos, movies, television and stage
productions. They can bring our attention and awareness from
where we are physically and emotionally, to a different state of
awareness. They can, also, be used to express compassionate
themes, wisdom and spiritual truths.
The combination of Uranus in
the sign of Aries and Neptune in the sign of Pisces,
may stimulate dynamic expressions of religious dogma and spiritual
one-upmanship. Some people may feel an urgency to begin their
spiritual journey and can become a fanatic in their beliefs.
Dreams will become clearer and
may bring important awareness and messages from our subconscious
and our spiritual guidance. It may be helpful and meaningful to
keep a dream journal next to your bed, and write down messages
that you receive in the night, while you can still remember them.
Neptune in Pisces supports
compassionate, charitable and healing programs that help people to
create more positive possibilities. As individuals, religions and
nations realize that tolerance, compassion and charity are
essential keys for healing our relations with one another, new
agreements, treaties, laws and practices that support these ideals
can be created. “Kindness is the light that dissolves all walls

The power of prayer will gain
greater recognition and respect. Prayer vigils, involving masses
of people, will focus on peace and healing, and create positive
results. New philosophies, based in compassion, charity,
forgiveness, faith and love, will bring hope and healing to the
hearts of people all over the world.
The Sun in Taurus
On April 20th, at 3:18
am Pacific Daylight Time, our Sun enters the sign of Taurus and
will transit this sign until May 20th. Taurus energies
support slowing down, getting grounded and focusing on practical
matters. Make time for gardening, hiking, biking, camping and any
other outdoor activities that you enjoy. Being in Nature is
especially calming and meaningful during this time. Taurus energy
also supports creative projects, dancing and artistic expressions,
especially the practical art forms.
The New Moon
On April 3rd (7:32 am Pacific
Daylight Time), there will be a New Moon at 14 degrees in
the sign of Aries. This is the beginning of a new lunar month (29½
days) of personal and social transformations. This is a time of
impulsiveness and there may be a tendency to jump to conclusions.
Also, this is a time for fresh new beginnings and seeing things
from a new perspective. Emotional healings in our relationships
are possible during this period, especially if we are willing to
look deeper into our relationships and consider the intrinsic and
spiritual significance of our connections with others. Even if a
relationship is not what you were expecting or hoping for, you may
find that it was exactly what you needed for increasing
self-awareness and developing yourself in other meaningful ways.
Mercury Retrograde
From March 30th thru
April 23rd, Mercury will be in a Retrograde cycle -
i.e. from Earth’s perspective, this planet will be moving
backwards through the sign of Aries.
A Mercury Retrograde
cycle is a time when the Universe is urging all of us to rethink
our lives.
Use this time to go
inward, and contemplate the deeper, spiritual meaning of your
life. Be
open to, and pay attention to, hunches or strong feelings you may
have about something or someone. Your intuition may be telling you
to adjust your course.
During a Mercury
Retrograde cycle, our rational, mental processes and
communications may break down somewhat. This also applies to any
mechanical devices that support our communications and travel,
such as computers (be sure to back up your computer before
MR cycles), telephones, automobiles and so on.
The Full Moon
On April 17th (7:44 pm
Pacific Daylight Time) there will be a Full Moon at 28
degrees in the sign of Libra. Watch for a tendency to be
over-reactive. Get grounded and centered before you respond to the
situation. Seek wise counsel, if appropriate. Remember to take
responsibility for, and process, the emotions that come up for
you.
Political differences and power
struggles between people, organizations and countries may become
more intense. The world economic situation may become even more
unstable than it already is. Avoid getting over-extended.
Observe your circumstances
without criticizing others and develop mindfulness. By living
mindfully, you will be more objective and clear, and your
experiences will serve your personal awareness and mastery.
In Conclusion
We are in a
time of radical and dynamic changes. It is more important than
ever before to be on your spiritual path and do your inner work.
Take time each day to sit and meditate. Call on your I AM presence
to guide and direct you, then listen to your inner voice. This
practice sets the tone (the vibration) for your day. This is the
way of Mastery.
