If you feel like you are in the Amusement Park of Life and riding the roller coaster of emotions, you are not alone. Many of us are now being called to stand fully in our knowing and to ‘be’ a living example of our Inner Truth. And what a ride it is! You may, also, find that your Higher Truth is contrary to the outward appearances of what is being manifested in the world – again, you are not alone. We are in a time of passionate emotions, increasing changes and accelerating evolution of consciousness. These intense energies are bringing all of our unresolved issues in front of our faces in rapid succession! When this happens for you (and it will), take the time to acknowledge your emotions, and then reach for a feeling of relief – whatever it may be. It can be as simple as enjoying the hummingbirds in your garden, dancing to an uplifting song, petting an animal and so on. When you are able to reach a feeling of relief, you will begin to displace the energies in your space that are blocking your happiness and personal growth, so you can shift your consciousness towards creating inner peace.
The planets Mars, Uranus and Pluto are creating a T-Square configuration for the first 19 days of August. This configuration teaches us to expect the unexpected, respect power, be adaptable and remember what is important to us as individuals. If you find yourself feeling threatened, remember to breathe deeply and get centered in your Sacred Space. From this place of pure non-resistance, instead of reacting to situations in fear and lashing out at others, you can respond from the place of neutrality and love.
Humanity is in a powerful time of contrast. It is through experiencing what we don’t want, that we discover what we truly do want. As this happens, the greater part of us calls forth our desire. Remember to focus your attention on what you are wanting, not on “what is”. According to Swami Beyondananda (aka Steve Bhaerman), the greatest medium that is available for you to manifest what you desire is “Tell-A-Vision”. Tell-a-vision (your improved vision of positive possibility) over and over again, until you begin to believe it and see the evidence of it in your reality. If you want to create Heaven on Earth, you must create it from where you are now. Heaven is a state of mind. To create Heaven, you must learn to master your mind. When you master your mind, you will find Heaven right here, right now.
Mercury is Retrograde from August 2nd thru 26th, in the signs of Virgo and Leo. Mercury Retrograde is a cycle when the Universe is urging us to turn our focus inward, contemplate and re-think our ways of being. This is a time when our Left Brain (our logical, practical side of our mental functions) seems to shut down somewhat. The purpose of this is to allow our Right Brain (emotional, feeling, spatial and intuitive functions) to develop. This is the perfect time to retreat, take a vacation and engage in spiritual practices. This is not a good time to begin new projects or sign important documents. Best to wait until Mercury goes Direct, after August 26th.
The first 22 days of August brings the playful and creative energies of the sign of Leo. It’s a good time to unleash your inner child. Play, laugh, sing, dance and frolic in the sunshine! People tend to be more demonstrative and dramatic with the Leo energy, so let the fun begin!
A Full Moon occurs on August 13th (11:57 am Pacific Daylight Time), at 21 degrees in the sign of Aquarius. This is the peak time of emotional intensity for the month. Because the Moon, Chiron and Neptune are in Opposition Aspect to the Sun, Venus and Mercury, intrinsic differences in idealism and spirituality may show up in our relationships. It is important to be still, and listen to different points-of-view. It is through the art of listening that we learn about others and ourselves. This allows us to be open and compassionate in our response.

Previously hidden, or repressed, information may come to the surface that may be disturbing emotionally for you. If this happens for you, search your heart and listen to your inner voice. It is from this Sacred Space that the truth of who you are is always present and guiding you in your relationships with others. Here are some questions that you may want to ask yourself, when you are in a place of non-resistance: Is your idealism and spiritual perspective in alignment with your significant others? Do you feel respected and empowered by your relationships? Are you sacrificing your own needs and objectives for others? How do you feel when you think about continuing your significant relationships for an extended and indefinite period of time? Are these relationships in harmony with your higher Truth? It is good to go within and look at your true motives in your relationships. If you are feeling significant reservations about your relationships, it may be time to seek wise and objective counsel.
On August 23rd (at exactly 4:21 am Pacific Daylight Time), the Sun enters the practical, detailed, health and service-oriented sign of Virgo. This begins a 31-day cycle that may best be used for handling the details of your life. It is an excellent time to organize your life, improve your diet and begin healthy activities (such as Yoga, meditation, walking, swimming and so on). Also, this is an ideal time to be of service in some way. When we serve others, we increase love in our lives. When we increase love we bless our own lives, as well as the lives of others.

The New Moon occurs on August 28th (at 8:04 pm Pacific Daylight Time), at 17 degrees in the sign of Leo. The energies at the New Moon represent the qualities of energies that we will experience during the following 29 ½ days (the Lunar Month).
