Astrological Perspectives for September 2011

We are in the throws of a very powerful and profound celestial alignment called Uranus Square Pluto. The energy of this Square aspect between these two major planets indicates evolutionary shifts, revolutions and upsets in the structures and relationships of the world. This alignment came into affect in May 2010 and goes through March 2018.
From outer appearances, it may look like things are getting worse. What we do not see as easily is the incredible Light that is pushing the feelings of negativity to the surface, creating contrast and giving us opportunities to choose where we want to abide in every moment. You cannot have what you want, while you are still focused on what you do not want. If you want to change your reality to a better one, begin by consciously focusing your attention towards that which you do want. This is a simple law of the Universe, known as the Law of Attraction.
A very effective way to do this is through daily meditation – in whatever form works best for you. Each day, find a comfortable place to sit quietly and take some time to get centered in your heart. It is from this Sacred Space you connect with your inner guidance and set the tone for your day. During the day, take time to feel the warmth of the sun on your face; experience the breeze blowing through your hair; sense the fragrance of the flowers around you; listen to the sounds of laughter; see the smiles on the faces of those you meet on the street…and so on. Feel appreciation for your life and the people, places and things that surround you.

From June 2011 thru April 10, 2012, we are in a very positive alignment where Jupiter is in a Trine aspect to Pluto. This alignment has opened a vortex of spiritual light that is illuminating higher consciousness for all who have eyes to see and ears to hear. Even though there appears to be chaos and fear surrounding us, everything is working in Divine Order for the ultimate well-being and evolution of Humanity. There is more spiritual light infusing into our world and the Collective Consciousness now than ever before in the history of Mankind. This is because Humanity is asking and ready to receive this new awareness.
For the first 17 days of September, extremely positive, powerful and creative energies are ignited through a series of three successive Earth Element Grand Trine configurations!
- The transiting Sun lines up with (Trines) Jupiter and Pluto from August 20th thru September 10.
- Venus aligns with (Trines) Jupiter and Pluto from August 21st thru September 3rd.
- Mercury moves into a Trine Aspect to this configuration on September 8th and extends the positive Grand Trine influences thru the 17th.
These alignments support powerful, opulent possibilities for anything that has its beginning during this time. They also assist all communications, travel, instruments of communications and travel, foreign relations, spirituality and economics.
These cycles nourish expansion, abundance and prosperity for anyone who takes positive action during these alignments – especially in the areas of your life indicated by the Houses of your natal chart – where the signs of Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn rule. (See the individual horoscopes below).
The first twenty-two days of September will bring forth the service-oriented, analytical, critical, methodical, detailed energies of Virgo. The Virgo energies support activities that involve service, detail, and organization. This is an excellent time to organize the areas of your personal life that are in disarray. Use this time to perfect your health – perhaps by improving your diet, hygiene, attitude and other personal habits. By doing this, you will bring more success and inner peace into your life.
The Full Moon occurs on September 12th (at 2:27 am Pacific Daylight Time) at 19 degrees in the sign of Pisces. Pisces is the most mystical sign of the zodiac, and it supports feelings of empathy, compassion, idealism and sensitivity to the spiritual realms of consciousness. With any Full Moon the Sun is always in the opposite sign. For this Full Moon, the opposite sign is the practical, analytical sign of Virgo. Oppositions bring opposing perspectives, so we can find balance in our lives. We are being urged to look at the pragmatic versus the mystical sides of our experiences.
At the same time, a favorable alignment (A Trine) between the Moon and the planet Mars stimulates and empowers creative and passionate actions. Also, a Grand Trine configuration (with Mercury Trine Jupiter Trine Pluto) supports and expands understanding and communications. It also brings insights through higher wisdom and divine consciousness for all of Humanity.
On a global level, this alignment supports intercontinental communications, travel, trade and general good will. Since this is an Earth Element Grand Trine, this is a wonderful time to improve, expand and bring prosperity to the areas of your life where the signs Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn are in your Natal Chart.
The Autumnal Equinox occurs on September 23rd, at 2:05 am Pacific Daylight Time. This is one of the most powerful days of the year, when the transiting Sun crosses the Equator, and the days and nights are equal everywhere on Earth. For those of us who live north of the Equator, we will enter a three-month period (until the Winter Solstice) when the daylight hours decrease an average of about two minutes per day. This is a natural time for going within and seeking communion with our inner being. For those who live south of the equator, these coming months may be best used for expressing your energies outward and into the physical world.
At the time of the Autumnal Equinox, the Sun begins a 30 1/3-day transit of the creative, artistic, relationship-oriented sign of Libra. This is a powerful time for gaining understanding through relationships and seeking balance and harmony in our lives. This is a fine time to express our creativity and to enjoy the arts.
The New Moon happens on September 27th (at 4:09 am Pacific Daylight Time), at 4 degrees in the sign of Libra. The Libra New Moon supports new and creative actions, appreciation for art and artistic expressions. Libra is the sign of relationships, and this favors social activities and projects that involve partnerships.
At the time of the New Moon, there is a T-Square alignment, with the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Uranus and Pluto. This helps us to recognize and transform our relationships and structures that are not supporting our potential as an individual. The Universe is asking: Are you free to be all that you are? Do you feel self-actualized in your career? Are your relationships harmonious with your true self? Be honest with yourself and take positive action to move forward on your spiritual path.
From September 17th thru October 7th, contrasts in our relationships will be amplified by a T-Square celestial alignment with the Sun, Uranus and Pluto. There may be significant internal and external challenges in relationships between individuals, societies, organizations and countries. Those who are out of integrity with Love and Truth will experience stress and upsets. These upsets are an indication of changes that need to happen for the highest good of all.
On a personal level, anything that challenges our individuality or limits our freedom will become more obvious and intolerable. Each of us must honor and be true to our own unique individuality. Only then will we find freedom, true empowerment and happiness.
