On August 1st, there will be a
Total Eclipse of the Sun. This Eclipse marks the beginning of a
new dispensation of cosmic energies that are bringing forth an
acceleration of Humanity’s evolutionary process. Dynamic,
radical frequencies will be initiated in order to break through
the illusions of limitation and fear. This is the beginning of a
series of powerful and profound cosmic cycles that will bring
ten years of changes in mass consciousness (through March 2018).
Now, more than ever, it is vital that you learn to meditate and
connect with Source energy on a regular basis. Find a form of
meditation that works for you, and practice it daily. By doing
this, your intuition and guidance is increased and you will have
an inner knowing that will support you in remaining centered and
calm in the midst of chaos. It will be your lifeline.
Remember that we are Source energy first and foremost. When we
came into the physical body, we did not leave that energy
behind. We brought It with us. With the Solar Eclipse on August
1st, the Universe will shift gears and present a new frequency
of dynamic creations. This magnified frequency will push the
boundaries of our limiting beliefs through tensions in our
relationships with other people and to our environment. These
tensions will stimulate awareness of anything that is limiting
our freedom to be who we are – Source energy creatively
expressing through a physical body.
Expect the unexpected! The planet Mars is forming challenging
alignments with the planets Uranus and Pluto. (Mars is opposing
Uranus and squaring Pluto.) On a larger scale, these energies
will catalyze and purge anything that is limiting the full
manifestation of Divine Truth and Love. These are the beginning
of a series of tension-producing celestial alignments that will
catalyze powerful and profound transformations in the
consciousness of Humanity over the next ten years. There may be
sudden outbreaks, upsets, conflicts, transformations and purging
of relationships and organizations; as hidden agendas, secret
plans and betrayals are discovered and exposed. In the bigger
picture, this may catalyze major changes and crises in
societies, organizations, governments and the World Economy.
On a personal level, this tension will make you aware of any
unresolved issues in your relationships with others. You may
find that you are no longer able to tolerate anything that is
not in harmony with the Truth of your Being. This means that
anything that is not a vibrational match with whom you have
become, may irritate you and shake you up a bit. You may
experience unexpected shifts with significant people in your
life. Certain relationships and associations may suddenly and
unexpectedly break up. This energy will give you the opportunity
to take a deeper look at your associations with others and to
ask yourself, “Are these relationships serving my higher good?”
If certain relationships are out of harmony with your spiritual
evolution, you may feel an urgency to change them.
It is important to look at your attachments to people, what they
represent, and what you think you need from them. Attachments
are the root of all suffering. Be willing to let go of your
control of and attachments to people, places, things and
circumstances.
August is a wonderful month for expanding your commitment to
your spiritual journey. The planet Jupiter is in a favorable
alignment with the planet Saturn. Jupiter is the planet of
philosophy, expansion, travel and abundance, and Saturn is the
planet of physical law, commitment, and functionality. These
planets are in a positive alignment (Trine Aspect) from August
1st through December 26th 2008. This cycle brings the potential
for expanding our physical world beyond the normal constraints
towards greater, more opulent possibilities. This is, in
general, a favorable time to begin new projects that you wish to
experience expansion and abundance. It’s time to push the
envelope of your life. Step out of your comfort zone and into an
expanded way of being. Through the power of faith, combined with
this planetary aspect, you can create abundance in your life.
The beginning of August brings the playful and creative energies
of the sign of Leo through August 21st. It’s a good time to
unleash your inner child. Play, laugh, sing, dance, and frolic
in the sunshine! People tend to be more demonstrative and
dramatic with Leo energy, and showmanship is heightened – so
have fun!
The New Moon is at 10 degrees Leo and occurs on August 1st at
3:13 am Pacific Daylight Time / 4:14 am Mountain Daylight Time.
This is the beginning of a 29.5 day Lunar Month. During this
time, the possibility of Sacred Love is enhanced as our capacity
for love is expanding with an infusion of Divine Love. This is a
time when soul mates are more likely to discover each other, as
the heart is more guided by the soul, and spiritual energies
infuse with our emotionality. If you are already involved in an
intimate relationship that is in harmony with your soul, this is
a time for bringing this relationship to a deeper, more
meaningful level of being. This is a period for great emotional
healing, as we realize that the spiritual roots of all love are
within each of us and originate with Source.
This New Moon occurs at the time of a Total Eclipse of the Sun,
when the Moon totally blocks the light of the Sun, at exactly
2:47 am Pacific / 3:47 am Mountain time. This eclipse is a 4 and
˝ hour celestial event that may be seen in eastern North America
and Canada, most of Europe, Asia, Greenland, Siberia, Mongolia
and China.
This Eclipse of the Sun marks the beginning of a two-week
period, until the Lunar Eclipse on August 16th, when we have
direct access to our creative power. Throughout Humanity’s
history, mystics and shamans have warned us to "beware of the
eclipses", because people tend to have "bad" experiences during
these periods. The reason for this is that the power of humans
to manifest reality is much stronger during these times, and
most people manifest negativity because they tend to think
negative thoughts.
It is imperative that we direct our minds toward higher,
positive thoughts during the eclipses and the two weeks in
between. Contemplating Divine good, meditating on the Higher
Self, and repeating spiritual mantras are effective ways to
accomplish this. This eclipse period, combined with Venus Trine
Pluto and Mars Trine Jupiter cycles, represents one of the most
profoundly powerful periods for manifesting in human history! If
you take advantage of these energies (in spite of the chaos!),
you will access the creative power of the Universe and direct it
towards manifesting your desires. Together, let us use this time
to visualize, feel and expect peaceful solutions, clean air,
pure waters and healthy environments for our Mother Earth and
all beings who reside on this planet. Together, we can manifest
miraculous changes in our world.
The Full Moon is at 24 degrees of the sign of Aquarius, and
occurs on August 16th, at 2:16 pm Pacific / 3:16 pm Mountain
Time. This is also an Eclipse of the Moon, when the Earth moves
between the Sun and the Moon, and partially blocks the light of
the Moon. This powerful alignment represents a nine-day period
(approximately four days before and four days after the eclipse)
when the “shadow” of our unconscious is exposed to us. This is a
great opportunity to heal the unconscious psyche by facing and
processing any unpleasant emotions that may come up for us at
this time. Remember to feel, express and surrender these
emotions to Spirit, so they may be transmuted and cleared from
your psyche.
On August 22nd, at exactly 3:55 am Pacific / 4:55 am Mountain
Time, the Sun will enter the health and service-oriented sign of
Virgo. This begins a 31-day cycle that may best be used for
handling the details of your life. This is an excellent time to
organize your life and to begin a special health-improvement
diet. It is an ideal time to be of service to others - there is
no greater thing that you can do.
