Earthquakes Are Uranus!
April 2001
The two recent earthquakes, (Seattle, WA on February 28th and India on January 26th) occurred during major aspects to Uranus. On January 26th, we were experiencing a triple whammy with three concurrent aspects to Uranus -- Saturn square Uranus, Mars square Uranus and Mercury conjunct Uranus. This happened two days after Saturn went Stationary/Direct. The February 28th earthquake in Seattle was triggered by another triple alignment with Saturn square Uranus, Mercury conjunct Uranus and the Moon square this Mercury/Uranus conjunction. Saturn represents structure and Uranus brings radical changes. The Saturn square Uranus cycle has been in effect since May 29, 1999, and will continue to influence matters on Earth through April 22, 2001.
Uranus energy is sudden, erratic, and unstable. This energy affects everything and everyone in our world. Think back to how your day was going on January 26th and February 28th, especially at the hour of each event. I was feeling a lot of tension in and around me on the morning of February 28th. I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster! Later that day, it seemed that there was a significant release of tension from my body and I saw my life with greater clarity. Intuitively, I felt that my world had been rocked and a lot of dammed up energy had been released from my Sushumna (light-body spinal cord). At its high octave resonance, Uranus represents the Kundalini energy(the light that flows through the Sushumna). So, there were many of us who were experiencing a Kundalini activation. When the Kundalini is activated, it breaks up blocked energies in the Chakras (energy centers of the light body) and quickens their energies to a higher resonance. When this happens, we may experience a breakthrough in our understanding of ourselves and our universe. This is a quickening of our personal evolution. Uranian energies are catalytic, inspiring and enlightening. They support the quickening of spiritual consciousness. Uranus and Mercury have been conjunct (within 6 degrees of each other) in the Sign of Aquarius since Jan 15, 2001 and will continue this alignment through March 18, 2001. This represents a time of enlightenment for individual consciousness and the collective consciousness of Humanity. This quickening of consciousness is occurring for each of us. If we are out of harmony with our Higher Good in any area of our life, we may experience chaos and breaking-up of this energy. To the degree that we're in harmony with our personal evolution, this energy brings us quickly to a new level of understanding about ourselves and our world. From the chaos of Uranian energy comes inspiration. To get the most benefit from our inspiration, we must surrender to a new possibility. We must surrender our negative, doubting, fearful thoughts and replace them with higher, positive thoughts.
The higher octave of Uranus includes the Christ energy. This is the energy of pure Divine Love and Compassion expressing in this physical world. When we express love and compassion for ourselves and our world, we are in alignment with this energy.
